For parents of young children and babies then a baby video monitor is pretty much an essential purchase. We bought this one three months ago and to be honest it’s been ok. It’s very easy to use and practically plug and play to setup (we’re not techies) so we were working with it straight out of the box. There are only 3 channels to choose from and so far this hasn’t given us any problems but there again we aren’t very advanced in our house and there are no other wireless products to cause interference.
The picture at night seems to be in black and white and does get a bit grainy depending on where else you are in the house with the receiver. It does come with a rechargeable battery and the charge does seem to last through the night with no problems.
Overall we have no real complaints. It gives us a feeling of security that should anything go seriously wrong with our baby when we aren’t in the same room we can now respond virtually instantly. This is very good for the peace of mind you need if you’re going to get any sleep.
